The 24CXK65.2RG is a 2Ω component kit. The system load is driven by the 2Ω mid-bass driver — choose the 2Ω version when running a dedicated 2Ω-rated amplifier in stereo. The tweeter in this kit is 4Ω but operates on its own crossover branch. For bridged amplifier configurations requiring a 4Ω minimum load, the 24CXK65.4RG (4Ω) is the correct choice.

The mid-bass driver and tweeter are identical in construction to the 14CXK65.2 and 24CXK65.2SG — the 24CXK65.2RG is differentiated by the Road Glide-specific grills and mounting hardware included in the kit, not by differences in the drivers or crossover.
The mid-bass uses a Carbon Matrix Composite™ (CMC™) cone — lightweight, rigid, and thermally stable. The 2.0-inch / 51mm Black Coat™ OFC copper voice coil handles sustained 250W RMS. The OFC copper shorting ring in the motor gap reduces inductance modulation distortion. The mid-bass covers from 70 Hz to the 7 kHz crossover point from the 2024+ Road Glide fairing position. On the road: full midrange from the factory fairing position with the ring radiator horn tweeter handling everything above 7 kHz — the same acoustic performance as the 24CXK65.2SG, in Road Glide-specific hardware.
The tweeter is a 1.0-inch shallow ring radiator in a horn waveguide at 107 dB with tweeter attenuation of -3 or -6 dB. The 12 dB passive crossover at 7 kHz is external, custom-tooled, vented, and encased. The kit includes Road Glide-specific grills and mounting brackets matched to the 2024+ Road Glide fairing design. A system-level high-pass on the amplifier at 80–120 Hz is still recommended to protect the mid-bass driver from sub-bass content.

The 24CXK65.2RG delivers the same performance as the 24CXK65.2SG and 14CXK65.2 — 94 dB mid-bass, 107 dB tweeter, 70 Hz – 20 kHz combined system response with the passive crossover at 7 kHz. At 2Ω, the 24CXK65.2RG extracts full rated output from any 2Ω-stable motorcycle amplifier. The FLX1400.4 and FLX2000.4 publish their rated output at 2Ω stereo — one channel per side drives the complete mid-bass and tweeter through the passive crossover. For bridged configurations, the 24CXK65.4RG satisfies the 4Ω minimum load requirement.
